Please note that all entries to the Honolulu Marathon Weekend are non-refundable.
The deadline to transfer your entry is November 9, 2025.
Transfer Options:
To transfer your entry to another person or race distance, please go through your confirmation email and follow the ‘Manage your registration’ link.

From there, you can ‘Manage’ your registration, and transfer your place to another person, the Virtual Event, or a shorter event within the marathon weekend.
TO THE VIRTUAL (FROM THE IN-PERSON HONOLULU MARATHON WEEKEND)
You can transfer your Honolulu Marathon Weekend place to the 2025 Virtual Beachfest by using the ‘Manage your registration’ link in your confirmation email. Click ‘Manage’ on the booking that you want to transfer. Select ‘Transfer’ and then ‘Transfer to another event’.
You will then be able to click ‘continue’ which will take you to our registration site. Choose the virtual distance you would like to transfer to. At checkout, you will need to pay for the shipping of the finisher pack.
TO ANOTHER PERSON OR EVENT (In-person):
The person taking over your entry will receive an email from Let’s Do This with all the instructions and will need to pay a $30 switch fee to complete the transfer.
To switch to another event, you’ll receive a link to complete a new registration for that event.
• If you’re switching to a higher-priced event, you’ll need to pay the price difference.
• If switching to a lower-priced event, a $30 admin fee will apply.

Refund Protection
All race entries are non refundable unless refund protection was purchased as an add on during registration.
To initiate a refund claim, follow the link in your confirmation email or on your Manage Registration page.
Refunds claims are not handled by the Honolulu Marathon, but by the Refund Protect Group, and the Honolulu Marathon cannot influence or change or influence any decisions by Refund Protect.
Refund Protect Group consider the following reason, subject to their General Conditions of Refund:
- Illness / Injury (including Covid)
- Pre-existing Medical Condition
- Pregnancy Complication
- Death of an Immediate Family Member
- Public Transport Failure
- Flight Disruption
- Transport Breakdown
- Severe Weather
- Home Emergency
- Theft of Documents
- Workplace Redundancy
- Jury Service
- Court Summons
- Armed Forces & Emergency Services Recall
- Relocated for Work
- Changes to Examination Dates
