2025 Kalakaua Merrie Mile Elite Field
The Kalakaua Merrie Mile is one of the largest mile races in the World with 2000 participants running and walking on Saturday December 13.
After the mass event, an invited field of world class professionals line up to race.
The Pro Race
An incredible field of top middle distance runners will compete at the 2025 Kalakaua Merrie Mile. This years field hosts 12 x olympians, 10 x 2025 World Athletic Championship competitors and countless NCAA titles and national records. To say the field is stellar would be an understatement.
The women’s category get a head start and the first to cross the line, irrespective of gender, wins.
The course has been verified by World Athletics which means world, area and national records can be set on the out-and-back course on Kalakaua Avenue
Elite Race Prize Money
1st – $10,000
2nd – $5,000
3rd – $3,000
4th – $1,500
5th – $1,000
The first athlete of the losing gender category will receive an additional $2,500.
