2023 Kalakaua Merrie Mile Elite Field
The Kalakaua Merrie Mile is one of the largest mile races in the World with 2000 participants running and walking on Saturday December 9. After the mass event, an invited field of world class professionals line up to race.
The Pro Race
An incredible field of top 1500m and mile runners will compete at the 2023 Kalakaua Merrie Mile.
The event is run as a gender challenge. The women get a 30 second head start and the first to cross the line, irrespective of gender wins.
The course has been verified by World Athletics which means world, area and national records can be set on the out-and-back course on Kalakaua Avenue
